Dynamic pricing for residential electricity has not yet been formally introduced in Ireland. The pricing model used by Wattson is an indicative estimate derived by applying Irish wholesale electricity costs, then adding regulated network charges and VAT (currently 9%).
Actual Irish dynamic tariffs may differ when officially introduced. Please use these figures for guidance only.
Log into the ESB Networks portal, click the "Download" tab, and then click either the "30-minute readings in kW" or "30-minute readings in calculated kWh" link to download your usage file.
When you upload a Smart Meter CSV file, it may contain personal information like your electricity usage data and meter number.
This data is only used to generate your comparison results. By uploading a file, you give consent for processing it for that purpose.
Your file and any results are processed and then automatically and permanently deleted immediately after the comparison finishes. No copies are kept.
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, and to withdraw consent at any time (by simply not uploading a file).
All processing happens within the EU/EEA and your data is not shared with anyone.
